Happy Tummy in Vietnam

Hello.. Probably this part  you might be hungry and think about to eat something after you read this. Just for your information, I am a food enthusiast. So, in this chance I don't want to skip every precious time in eating Vietnamese food. Even, in this writing I only put some food which has certain impression for me. Commonly, Vietnam has similar food ingredients with Indonesia, but the difference is the use of the flavour. It has saltier and stronger spice. Okay, without any futherdue let's get hungry..

Vermicelli with duck slices and its stock

My First Dinner

This was my first dinner after arrived in Ho Chi Minh. It seems like Soto Ayam in Indonesia, but it served in a big portion. The other course was salad contains fresh cabbage with basil and duck slices. My sense of taste was shocking because they have different taste from Indonesian food, but I tasted some Indonesian flavors in this food, such like torch ginger (bongkot) on the salad. The taste of the food was weird at the first time, but after I start get used to taste it.
Coco Ice Cream
Next is the best ice cream in Thu Duc distric. The name is Coco Ice Cream. This made from coconut ofcourse. Actually, I don't really like processed food from coconut, but for this ice cream is an expection. This was so heavenly taste. It contains of dredged coconut flesh, cream which made from coconut and milk, peanut crumbs and condensed chocolate milk. The special thing is that it served in coconut shell.
Bread with saussage
This might not be my favorite breakfast but the bread was so good to be a breakfast menu. Based on my observation, the studens in HCMUTE always have their breakfast. I saw them always eat something before their morning class. Most of them eat bread like on the picture or bánh bao, but I prefer to have a breakfast with bread because it's not a really big portion. In Indonesia, I rarely to have a breakfast, but Vietnam thought me how important the breakfast is.
Orange Juice

Matcha Milk Tea
Ice Milk Coffee

The weather in Vietnam when I was there was hot and I love to drink some cold beverages. These are must bemy favorite beverages in Vietnam. The first one is orange juice. At the first time, I didn't really interest to try this, but after my friend ask to buy it together I felt this is the orang jucie holy grail. This made from fresh orange squeeze, a little liquid sugar, and ice cube. The thing which makes this orange juice is so special is that it doesn't add up by any water, it made of  pure orange squeeze. It makes the taste wry and sweet, moreover it adds up by ice cube so it is delicious.
Next, matcha milk tea. I can say that this is the best matcha milk tea I've ever drink. The location of the cafe is across the university, so I can eaily to reach it. The cafe has a lot of beverages menu so I was so confused, but then I chose matcha milk tea. This became my favorite matcha milk tea ever. The other is good, but this one is perfect.
The last is ice milk coffee which can be found in Ben Thanh market. I found the other milk coffee but this is the best one. I drunk it at the first time I came to Ben Thanh market and this is one thing which can makes me need to comeback to Vietnam. I'm a coffee holic so I can say this is one of my favorite coffee.

I think that's all for this section. If you want to see more aboutnmy food journey, you can see on my instagram highlight https://www.instagram.com/bellasantosa_/ and you will see more about this.
